Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Free Text to Speech Online website. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Description of the service
Free Text to Speech Online is a free, browser-based text-to-speech tool: you enter text, choose a voice and adjust speed, pitch and volume, and your browser sends the text directly to a third-party cloud speech endpoint that performs the synthesis and returns the MP3 audio. The service requires no registration and charges no fees, and is intended for personal, learning and research use. You keep ownership of the text you enter and of the audio you generate.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the service only in ways that comply with applicable law. You are responsible for the text you enter: do not synthesize content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others, including intellectual property rights, and do not use the service to create audio that impersonates or misleads. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service or the third-party speech endpoint, and do not use automated tools to abuse the service.
Service availability
The service is provided free of charge and may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time without notice. Speech synthesis depends on a third-party endpoint that we do not operate or control, so we cannot guarantee that the service will remain available or continue to work.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or from the audio it generates.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes are published on this page, and continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
