Text and audio

When you convert text to speech, your browser sends the text directly to a third-party cloud speech endpoint that performs the synthesis and returns the MP3 audio. Neither the text nor the audio passes through servers operated by us — the site has no backend. The generated MP3 is created and saved only on your device. The third-party endpoint processes your text under its own privacy practices.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies and contains no analytics or advertising scripts. The only data it keeps is your preference set (selected voice, speed, pitch and volume) in your browser's localStorage, which never leaves your device.

Data deletion

Because the service stores nothing on any server, there is no data of yours for us to delete. To remove everything the site has saved, clear the site data (localStorage) for this website in your browser settings. Text you entered and audio you downloaded exist only on your device and can be deleted like any local file.
